
Elvin Gail Luyun , PT, DPT, CMP, PES
Elvin is a licensed physical therapist in both New Jersey and New York with over a decade of experience delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across a wide range of rehabilitation settings. His clinical background spans inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, and multidisciplinary medical centers, where he has helped patients recover function, reduce pain, and return to meaningful activity.
He has worked extensively with individuals diagnosed with cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), Parkinson’s disease, cerebral palsy, joint degeneration, orthopedic trauma, scoliosis, cervical radiculopathy, and soft tissue injuries such as sprains, strains, and overuse syndromes. His areas of clinical interest include post-operative rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, return-to-sport programming, and performance enhancement.
Elvin ’s approach is hands-on and evidence-based. He integrates a variety of therapeutic interventions including gait training, therapeutic exercise, home program instruction, and modalities such as therapeutic ultrasound, TENS, paraffin wax applications, and hot pack therapy. He is trained in several manual therapy techniques, including the Mulligan Concept, McKenzie Method, Muscle Energy Technique, Graston Technique, NeuroKinetic Therapy, and myofascial cupping. He also utilizes TRX and neurodynamic techniques to support functional recovery.
Known for his collaborative mindset, Elvin maintains open communication with referring providers, ensures detailed clinical documentation, and works closely with care teams to promote optimal outcomes. He currently treats patients through Atlantic Health System, Chilton Medical Center, and other leading rehabilitation facilities in New Jersey.
He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Utica College in 2012 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA.
