Sophia Ma PT, DPT

Sophia Ma PT, DPT earned her Bachelors of Science at Rutgers University in New Jersey and Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Dominican University in New York. She has a wide variety of experience as a Physical Therapist working with patients in outpatient, acute care, inpatient rehab and school based pediatric settings. Her clinical experiences include, but are not limited to: post operative rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric developmental physical therapy, preventative and wellness, and sports injuries.

 

Sophia enjoys working with patients of all ages, ranging from pediatric to geriatric. She takes priority in treating all with a patient centered approach. Ensuring great ongoing communication with her patients to work towards each patient’s individualized goal is vital to restoring function. She has been trained to perform IASTM (Graston Technique) and taken Herman and Wallace courses for Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy. She is a firm believer of continuing education and incorporating the most up to date evidence based practice along with her knowledge and clinical experience to deliver the highest quality of care to patients. 

 

Sophia loves spending time with her husband and their two children. She loves to travel with her family, explore local attractions, try new restaurants, and do outdoor activities.
